Looking for somewhere a little unusual to get married? Then how about on board Concorde like today’s bride and groom, Janice and Michael. The perfect location for travel lovers and transport fanatics alike.
Choosing to marry on the 12th July 2014, Janice and Michael wanted a fun retro wedding. There was a vibrant yellow colour scheme complete with prom dresses for the bridesmaids, sweet décor and fresh blooms.
Janice looked simple divine in her belted dress and sunglasses while Michael was suited and booted in Ted Baker. What a gorgeous couple.

It’s always a wonderful start to the week when I get to read words such as these from today’s bride Kate; “I am an avid WWW reader and read everyday in the run up to the wedding! It provided me with so much inspiration!”
Woohoo. I wonder how many of you are sat there right now drawing inspiration from this very wedding, who I will have the pleasure of then featuring later in the year too? Isn’t that just a super exciting thought?
Kate and Pete were married on the 25th July 2014, choosing to hold their wedding at The Ginger Fox; a gorgeous country pub. They envisioned an informal fun wedding with a vintage feel.
There was a real home-made feel to their day, with Kate’s mum and grandma contributing with sweet decorations, home grown flowers and scrummy cakes.
I must admit though that it’s the attire today that got me excited. Kate looked effortlessly beautiful in her Jane Bourvis vintage lace dress with her hair in romantic waves, Pete donned a blue suit with burgundy bow tie and the bridesmaids were in pastel dresses. Ekkk.
Thanks goes to the marvellous Emma Lucy Photography for sharing her imagery.

This afternoon’s wedding is oh so special, full of love, personal touches and fun!
I so love an old fashioned inspired ‘do’, which is exactly what WWW readers Rosie and Sean decided to have for when they married on the 5th July 2014.
With a vision of a classic vintage street party, you can just imagine how epic their homespun reception was. DIY blooms, floral bridesmaid frocks, a 1950s inspired dress perfect for twirling and festoon lights were just a few of my favourite parts of this wedding.

Lets get started this week with a totally glamorous countryside affair.
Heather and Adam were married on Saturday 26th July holding their day at The Yoghurt Rooms. They opted for an outdoor barefoot ceremony followed by a party in the magnificent barn.
I adore the 1920s style dresses. With Heather wearing an exquisite Joanne Fleming dress while the bridesmaids wore drop waist frocks. There were Balinese umbrellas, fluffy white Peonies and a piñata wedding cake alternative. Wow.
Thanks so very much to Hayley Rose Photography for sharing her wonderful imagery.

WWW readers Lydia and Andrew are lovers of vintage and so chose the 1940s and 1950s eras for their wedding inspiration.
Think bright red Cadilac, victory rolls and brogues. Oh yes.
Lydia and Andrew got creative and crafted much of their wedding to keep to their £5000 budget. From the stationery and typewriter guest book and lavender chair décor it all looked ruddy marvellous.
Lydia looked amazing in her vintage dress with Jimmy Choo heels, while Andrew opted for baby blue. What a stylish pair.
Thanks goes to Story and Colour for sharing these exquisite images.
