Today’s wedding got me excited for several reasons… The rustic beautiful back garden barn gem of a venue. The mountain of gorgeous DIY projects the bride completed. The sentimental meaningful love filled images. Oh yes.
Carol and Gareth married in May of this year with a church ceremony followed by a reception at Carol’s parent’s barn. The whole day was a huge home made effort, with everything being sourced or made by Carol and Gareth and their loved ones. I just adore the blooms and the amazing scrumptious looking naked wedding cake.
Carol was captivating in her Annasul Y dress which she wore with a lace edged veil, while Gareth went for tweed and a bow tie. Oh the style.

Just wait until you read today’s proposal story, it is really rather epic. I too am a huge Mumford and Sons fan just like Nicola and am really rather jealous of the proposal that Damian planned for her. Be sure to read about it in all it’s glory at the end of the feature.
WWW readers Damian and Nicola married on the 31st May 2014 at Chilham Village Hall in Kent. They wanted to create a relaxed village fete feel wedding day, with guests bringing along cakes, lovely home made touches and fun games.
Nicola arranged the pretty Gypsophila bouquets herself, there were also paper book hearts on the tables, bunting, pom poms, hessian table cloths and a good old tombola. Brilliant.
Thanks so much to the wonderful Rebecca Douglas for providing these images today.

It all started with a perfect Tiffany engagement ring at Midnight on Christmas Eve, how dreamy!
Andy and Flippy married on the 15th February 2014 at the The Priory Cottages, Yorkshire. It was important to them that they kept many of the traditional elements of a wedding whilst having a rustic relaxed feel to their décor. Hessian, logs and bunting looked wonderful alongside that scrumptious dessert table.
Flippy’s swishy romantic Lyn Ashworth dress looked wonderful with her Jimmy Choo heels and the bridesmaids wore vivid blue frocks with baby breath bouquets. Divine.

A festival feel, camp wedding with a tipi? Yes please!
Grace and Danny married on a rainy 24th May 2014, holding their Papakata tipi reception in a gorgeous meadow at Camp Katur, Yorkshire. They had a casual atmosphere with great food and music to entertain their guests.
Grace looked beautiful in lace while Danny donned tweed; there were sunflowers, rustic décor and LOT of love. The whole vibe of their day is just brilliant and it looked like every single guest had a fun time. I especially adore the atmospheric portraits in the woods, so gorgeous.
Thanks so very much to Toast of Leeds for sharing her amazing photographs today.

Oh how I dream of getting married in the woods, it must be the most perfect atmospheric setting. Woodland weddings are my favourite, teamed with glamping and a super loved up couple, well just you cannot go wrong.
WWW readers Greg and Sarah tied the knot on the 5 April 2014 holding their wedding at the brilliant Jollydays Glamping in Yorkshire. They wanted a weekend wedding with a hog roast and ceilidh.
It was a real child friendly affair, with a gorgeous tipi decked in rustic decor and the most amazing cake table. Sarah looked stunning in her Mia Mia gown with flowers in her hair while Greg donned a kilt. WOW.
Thanks goes to the wonderful Carly Bevan for sharing these photographs today.
