Every now and then I get sent a wedding submission by a bride and groom and I get so very excited.
WWW readers Lewis and Melanie married on the 10th May 2014, holding their wedding reception in a quaint village hall setting. They had a budget of £5000 and homemade near enough everything, from the cake and décor, to the flowers and bridesmaid dresses. Their wedding was a real crafty labour of love. And just you wait until you see the said décor, they decorated 500 tea light filled jam jars and suspended them from the ceiling to create a magical starry sky feel. WOW.
Melanie’s vintage dress was a bargainous £20 a, her shoes were a £5 eBay find and boy did she look beautiful, while Lewis found his dapper checked suit in Next. Fabulous.
Thanks goes to the amazing Foxley Photography for sharing their imagery today.

I just love a wedding where the bride and groom focus on their guests experience. WWW readers Lisa and Louis, who married on the 9th August 2014 at The House Meadow, had a wedding filled with fun and games. They took a fete/sports day feel to the max with welly wanging, space hopper jousting, hula hooping, an egg and spoon race, cake bake off and tug of war. Brilliant.
They also love picnics and served a picnic style meal, which looked scrumptious. Their homemade décor was primarily inspired by Pride and Predjudice and they even headed to the Jane Austen museum on their honeymoon.
Lisa was simply radiant in her Ellis gown, perfectly wavy hair, Irregular Choice shoes and sweet veil. Oh so lovely.
Thanks goes to the wonderful Daffodil Waves for providing the imagery today.

WWW readers Hazel and Phil tied the knot on the 5th July 2014 at The Stone Mill in Monmouthshire. With a vision of a relaxed wedding with an outdoorsy feel they opted for a marquee reception. They homemade much of their wedding themselves, complete with multicoloured crafty touches, such as the pom poms and origami.
The bouquets were lush and beautiful, the bridesmaids donned blue frocks and the boys looked dashing in sharp suits. Hazel is a natural beauty and wore Edith by Charlotte Balbier with her hair loose, a long veil and Rachel Simpson shoes. Gorgeous.
Thanks so much to Matilda Rose Photography for sharing her wonderful photography with us.

Did you ever see happier newly-weds? No I thought not ;-)
Richard and Michelle tied the knot on the 24th May 2014, holding their reception in the most beautiful barn. They hoped to achieve an English country rustic wedding which they certainly did.
They decorated the barn oh so wonderfully, with some fab DIY touches. I just love all of the crates, flowers and fairy lights. The bride and groom looked utterly sophisticated, with Michelle in lace and Richard in blue.
Thanks so very much to the fabulous Sophie Duckworth for sharing her photographs today.

Happy Monday lovelies, I hope you had a fun filled weekend. Let’s get cracking this morning with a pretty Spring affair.
WWW readers Andy and Rhiannon tied the knot on Saturday 19th April 2014 at Ingon Manor in Warwickshire. They hoped for a day which was fun, personal and full of love.
They had many of their loved ones contribute towards their day, with a homemade cake, stationery and Easter inspired details all crafted by family and friends. My favourite part of this wedding has to be the stunning lush bouquets of Peonies and Ranunculus, they looked amazing.
Rhiannon looked so very beautiful in ‘Bonnie’ by Jenny Packham with Jenny Packham headpiece and Jimmy Choo shoes. WOW.
Huge thanks goes to the fabulous Philippa James for sharing her photographs today.
