Today’s real wedding has an epic list of DIY projects undertaken by the couple and the end result is ruddy well marvellous.
Sophie and David were married by Sophie’s Grandfather on the 17 May 2014 in a special Church ceremony, followed by a village hall reception in Northamptonshire. It was super important to them that their wedding was personal, with their loved ones being involved throughout.
I so love the fun home-made décor, with swathes of pom poms, statement letter lights, vinyl record place settings and flowers in bottles to name a few.
Sophie had a romantic bridal look, donning a lace dress by White One by Pronovias while David wore a dashing grey three piece suit. Gorgeous.
Thanks so very much to the amazing Lola Rose Photography for providing the photographs today.

Be prepared for pretty overload today, this wedding is a beauty.
WWW readers Kate and Matthew married on the 24th May 2014, holding their ceremony at the Pitville Pump Rooms followed by a reception at Great Barrington Village Hall, in the stunning Cotswolds countryside.
They hoped to achieve a natural country folksy Pre-Raphaelite fee to their day, which worked so beautifully. There were seasonal blooms, hand crafted details, flower garlands and a Ceilidh band in the evening.
I am head over heels for Kate’s enchanting bridal look, with her wearing Queen Anne’s Lace by CIaire Pettibone with a romantic veil, Rachel Simpson shoes and a Jennie Baltzer headpiece. Let’s not forget those gorgeous bridesmaids and Matthew who looked dapper in a sharp blue suit.
Thanks so much to the utterly fabulous Georgi Mabee for sharing her photographs with us.

Nicky and Toby had one of the most colourful wedding celebrations I have clapped my eyes on back in May. They held their ceremony at Great Dunmow Maltings followed by a back garden tipi reception beside the beautiful Essex countryside.
They hand crafted and coordinated much of the wedding themselves; there was a gorgeous apple tree bar serving pretty drinks, cans filled with wild flowers and hand stamped luggage tag place names. Oh and perhaps some of the best evening lighting ever.
Nicky looked divine in her Watters gown with pretty curled hair, while Toby looked dapper in Hugo Boss. Amaze.
Thanks so much to Kent Wedding Photographer, Jackson & Co Photography for sharing these glorious images today.

I am not sure I’ve ever featured a more thoughtful couple, this bride and groom went the extra mile and thought of every little detail for their wedding.
WWW readers Philip and Victoria married on the 28th September 2013 at the beautiful Hitchin Lavender, Hertfordshire. They hand crafted their rustic feel wedding to perfection, from the genius dictionary guest book to the stationery and notebook favours. They were also lucky to have some supremely talented friends who helped to create their wedding not to mention a super gorgeous wedding party.
Victoria looked divine in lace and I love her green Converse, while Philip donned a dark navy suit. And all on a budget of £6000, amazing.
Thanks so much to the wonderful Jessica Holt Photography for sharing her images with us.

I love the Spring, as do today’s couple who had a bright and beautiful Spring wedding day.
Emma and Sam married on Saturday 12th April 2014 at the Dairy Barns, Norfolk. They went bold with their colour scheme, opting for vibrant blues and yellows. There were gorgeous Spring florals, fun balloons and a scrumptious afternoon tea.
Emma looked divine in her swishy dress and birdcage veil, while her maids looked super pretty in blue.
Thanks goes to Fuller Photography for sharing these lovely images today.
