Sam and Becky had the loveliest of wedding days.
They chose Alpheton Hall Barn, Suffolk as the backdrop to their vision of a hand crafted colourful country wedding. There is so much to love about their day, from the colourful DIY flowers, to the personal touches and big fat smiles.
Sam went for black jeans which he teamed with a waistcoat and jacket from ASOS, while the bridesmaids wore vibrant purple frocks and pretty necklaces. Becky fell for an ethereal layered dress which she wore with a flower crown and floor length veil. Swoon.

WWW readers Anna and Stuart tied the knot back in June, with a Church service followed by a reception at Tithe Barn in Kent. They wanted a rural wedding day, with home made personal touches and a homely feel.
Anna looked gorgeous in her tea length frock and sparkly shoes, while Sturart looked dashing in tails. The bridesmaids wore sage green dresses by Coast and there were the most precious florals.
With hand crafted bunting, pretty lighting and herb centrepieces the barn looked wonderful.

Jessica and Robert had a light hearted and fun wedding in the woods at Jessica’s Dads house. They had a humanist ceremony below DIY arches decorated with hops whilst guests sat on bales of hay.
Jessica looked beautiful in Amanda Wyatt, wearing flowers in her plaited hair whilst clutching a pretty bouquet she arranged herself. Her favourite girls wore white dresses from Monsoon with flower crowns in their hair while Robert wore a sharp suit and converse.
Oh and then there was a drop dead gorgeous reception in a tipi. WOW.
Thanks so much to the brilliant Tino & Pip Photography for sharing their images with us today.

This week we travel to Texas in the US for the bright, crafty and fun wedding of Casey and Michael.
Wedding planner Jennifer Laura Design was kind enough to get in touch to share their day with me, and I fell hook line and sinker for their adorable wedding. There were so many personal and DIY touches. White blooms, sweet children and a pretty streamer backdrop. You guys are going to love their wedding day.

Following on from part 1 of Emily and Mark’s wedding this morning, I have their fun party wedding reception to share with you. They chose the The Three Tuns pub with a beautiful marquee for the backdrop of their wedding day.
Emily and Mark crafted so many of the pretty touches, from the bunting, to the fabric table plan and decorated wedding cake.
Emily looked so very beautiful in a polka dot creation by Oh My Honey, which she teamed with a pink petticoat from Petticoats A Plenty and veil from Lily Bella. Mark chose a grey tweed suit from Next which he wore with quirky scrabble cuff links to fit with the details in their décor. Oh so gorgeous.
Thanks so much to Emma Lucy for the wonderful photographs today.
The Flowers… Sunflowers! It’s a bit of an in-joke from a family holiday years ago, but I love them, they’re so cheerful. My bouquet also had gerbera to get some pink in, and rosemary, tied with leopard-print ribbon – I think I knew that Mel from The Flower Smith was the one for me when she got excited about having leopard print in there too . The bridesmaids had sunflower wrist corsages on pink ribbon, with a posy of gerbera for the flower girl. Mark took a firm stance on not wanting sunflower buttonholes for fear of looking ‘clowny’, so chose craspedia instead, with some rosemary too. They looked brilliant, we had so many comments about how unusual they were. In the marquee we chose big enamel jugs of sunflowers for the tables – really simple but the colour looked amazing against the white marquee and pastel tablecloths.
The Cake… From good old M&S with a little staff discount thanks to the lovely Sharon, one of the bridemaid’s mums. We ordered just plain ivory sponge, which was totally delicious, and I made and added the sugar paste bunting and polka dot ribbon. I also made the lobster topper (it’s a Friends reference!) – it’s made of Fimo, so hopefully we can keep it forever – some of the children were quite disappointed they couldn’t eat it though!
