London based couple Jonathan and Sarah headed to Yosemite National Park, California for their wedding. They held their ceremony outdoors with their reception being held at Yosemite Bug Lodge.
This couple have serious style, they bridesmaids wore the loveliest Vivien of Holloway frocks, while all the guys looked super dapper in their vintage look suits and shades.
Sarah wore the most beautiful Joanne Fleming dress with a lace edged veil and clutched pretty plastic wedding flowers. Jonathan wanted a 1960s look and opted for a slim suit from Marks & Spencer teamed with Wayfarers. So cool.
Thanks so much to the brilliant Laura Debourde Photography for sharing her images with us today, here is what she had to say about the day;
“When I heard that Sarah and Jon were getting married in Yosemite National Park, it’s safe to say I was bouncing with excitement! What could be more scenic and beautiful than that? Knowing Sarah and Jon, I knew the Wedding would have a quirky and creative feel, making it very personal and individualistic. The whole day was fantastic all the way through, very relaxed and intimate at times and you definitely had a sense that what you was witnessing was pretty damn special! A lot of details were crafted and very individual, and it was really lovely to see how everyone contributed and was involved with bringing their own touches to the wedding decorations. It was such a pleasure to be part of the day, I will never forget it!”

For this weeks international Saturday we are in romantic Paris. Aaron and Nicole were married in Australia and honeymooned in Paris. They decided to have a symbolic ceremony while they were there, and i am super happy to be sharing the beautiful photographs as a result today. Oh so romantic.
Thanks so much to WeddingLight for sharing their images today, here is what they had to say about the day;
“Aaron and Nicole originally met through their love of music at 18 and have been inseparable ever since. They were an adorable couple and were actually married at Montsalvat in Eltham, Victoria, Australia amongst family and friends before flying to Paris for their honeymoon. They wanted to celebrate their love one step further with a symbolic ceremony in one of the most romantic cities on earth — something they could cherish forever. With the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower behind them, the two confirmed their love yet again. Afterwards, we took a little photo tour around the area and had a great time. Aaron and Nicole were so friendly and natural and we had a great time snapping shots here and there.”

Lets have some Tuscan sunshine this afternoon :-) yay!
Laura and Chris were married in June, in beautiful Tuscany, which they chose so they could have a weekend away with their loved ones. They wanted their wedding to be relaxed and without a theme. 65 of them stayed a beautiful villa throughout and they had their reception there too.
They had beautiful white blooms, peonies for Laura and pretty gypsophila posies for her 7 gorgeous bridesmaids in their cream shift dresses. They decorated the reception room with a rustic feel, with brown paper details, chalk boards and bunting.
Laura looked stunning in her lace dress and cathedral length veil while Chris went for a grey suit from M & S which looked very dapper indeed. Just gorgeous.
Thanks so much to the wonderful Laura Babb for sharing her photographs with us today.

I thought a dreamy destination wedding would be perfect for some Friday musings.
Sarah and Neil live in Manchester but were married on the Amalfi coast in Italy, at the beautiful Palazzo Belmonte, where a Prince still lives!! They wanted an intimate dinner party feel to their wedding. I so love their laid back feel to the planning and they even postponed their wedding by a day due to the weather! I heart these two :-)
Sarah looks so so beautiful in her lace adorned dress, and there were peonies.. enough said.
Thanks so much to the wonderful On Love and Photography for sharing their images today, here is what they had to say about the day;
“Sarah and Neil got married in beautiful Castellabate on the Amalfi coast, in May this year. The wedding took place in the stunning grounds of Palazzo Belmonte, an historic residence submerged in lush greenery and with a real prince still living in it!
Sarah and Neil have been one the lovliest and most chilled couple we have ever met , and absolutely gorgeous the pair them!
We loved their attitude towards the whole thing, keep it simple and real, two people in love, their immediate families to celebrate their union and a wonderful location. Pure romance.
A wedding stripped back to its very essence and meaning, no frills ( although we love frills, oh we do! it was quite refreshing for us to concentrate our attention on the couple rather than the deco.. )
But it all didn’t happen without a bit of drama, we were in italy after all! On the day of the wedding everyone got woken up by the drumming sound of rain drops on their window shutters…and rained it did all day, but in their elegant and calm manner the bride and groom accepted the fact that this was just going to be a wet wedding and like they say in italy, sposa bagnata sposa fortunata ( wet bride , lucky bride ).
Until someone ( us ) looked at the weather forecast for the following day… sun sun wonderful sun! and literally 15 mins before the ceremony was due to start a phone call to the mayor and the wedding got postponed! phews all round.
So a day later and in glorious sunshine, the magic finally happened. Sarah did her own hair and make up, wore a very simple and elegant dress and had a white peonies bouquet made by a local florist, the rings had been hand forged by Neil’s best friend.
We couldn’t help but feeling privileged to be part of this very special occasion and to be able to capture it in all its beauty and honesty has just been fantastic.”

Morning WWWers :-) I have a beautiful Whimsical Wonderland Weddings reader sharing her wedding day today… ekk!!
“I looked at WWW very often while planning our wedding for inspiration, I love your site! and still have regular visits post wedding :) I have wedding planning withdrawal :) and just love looking at the beautiful pictures and ideas.” Hayley told me.
Now that makes my heart sing.
Hayley and Mitchell are based in the UK but being from South Africa they decided to get married there at Calderwood Hall Manor. They wanted their wedding to be intimate and relaxed with a vintage feel. They put some serious amount of work into all the pretty decor, crafting so many items.
They went for a blue colour scheme with white and silver touches, which looks opulent and really special.
Thanks so much to the wonderful Jacki Bruniquel for sharing her gorgeous images with us today.
