I do love a wedding with a budget especially when it involves a village hall. This wedding had a budget of £5000 and the whole day was ruddy well brilliant.
Emily and Nick were married on the 2nd August 2014, with a church ceremony followed by a quaint village hall reception. With pretty pastels their wedding had a lovely old fashioned feel; bridesmaids in vintage inspired dresses, DIY florals and a home baked cake.
How sweet does bride Emily look in her tea length dress with short veil and wavy hair? Beautiful.

Hannah and Jacob are one of those couples who are just so inspirational. Their whole wedding had an ethos I really admire, with makers and artists incorporated into their super personal wedding.
To begin, they chose their own surname ‘Greys’, which was entwined into their celebrations in the details. An embroidery of their surname was hand stitched onto a rug, which they stood on to marry and now is now pride of place in their living room. The very spot they married. Amazing! Then there were the numerous hand crafted touches, from the yellow pom poms used as a flower alternative to the book paper details. Everything was so very thoughtful.
I’ve not even mentioned the extraordinary location yet, just check out that portrait above. The waterfall was a magical spot to tie the knot and the surrounding woodland made for some marvellous portraits.
Not to mention that Hannah donned a stunning vintage charity shop dress find while Jacob went for yellow trousers, effortlessly gorgeous.

It is always SUCH a privilege to hear that couples have been inspired by this very blog. Which is why I always adore a reader wedding. Yay.
WWW readers Nick and Kate tied the knot on Saturday 16th August 2014, hosting their reception in the sweetest village hall which was just perfect for their DIY wedding. With a budget of £5000 they got really creative. From hand made décor, ingenious cost saving ideas such as the ice cream dessert and enlisting the help of their loved ones.
Kate donned a beautiful sage green dress with simple yet pretty accessories, while Nick found his dapper suit in the sale at Marks and Spencer. Be sure to read their report below for some brilliant ideas.

WWW readers Victoria and Jim were married on the 6th September 2014 at the Barley Town House in Hertfordshire. They hoped for a relaxed wedding, from stress free planning to a big party to celebrate. On a budget of £7500 they DIYed much of their colourful rustic day.
I so love the hessian table runners, heart book art, pom poms and bunting. Then of course there were the flowers, statement Sunflowers and Daisies were used throughout which looked so very pretty. Victoria donned a beautiful flower crown and statement necklace which worked perfectly with her Pronovias Nerga gown.
Thanks today goes to Grace and the Heart for sharing such wonderful images to pore over.

This afternoon we are headed into the woodland for Katie and Vicki’s rustic wedding held on Saturday 13th September 2014. They envisioned a day which was relaxed and outdoorsy. So they had a wood theme, with so many wonderful home-made touches.
These two have some serious style, with Vicki wearing the sweetest tea length dress while Katie donned a wool jacket and gorgeous rainbow brooch. They sure did treat their guests to an experience, with live music, games, a pub quiz and delicious cake. YUM.
