This week we are in Rhode Island, United States for the September wedding of Alayna and Jay.
Alanyna and Jay’s wedding was oh so magical, with a dream like feel to their day. They had a story book theme; with the sweetest signs, pretty terrariums and fun animal masks. There was beautiful light and so much style. I especially adore Alyana’s bridal look with her wearing all vintage and her Mother’s wedding dress.
Thanks so much to M Studios for sharing their images with me via Two Bright Lights, here is what they had to say about the wedding;
“Once upon a time a wedding comes along and knocks us off our feet! Meet Jay and Alayna! Their story begins with a proposal from Jay who had a trained pelican carry the engagement ring. Yes, a real live pelican! Alayna is a talented illustrator who drew the scene for her save the date. The wedding was a vintage story book/fairy tale theme at the Glen Manor. Each table had a different terrarium as the centerpiece, picture books and candles adorned the mantles, and an incredible storybook cake was a hit with all the guests. The couple had gorgeous carved animal masks for photos. Alayna wore vintage shoes, her mother’s wedding dress and Jay’s mom’s veil. They didn’t have a florist. The bouquets were made by the two mother’s of the couple with flowers picked from the garden. Alayna did all the table settings. She made a old timey moon and banner to hang in the photo booth where there were more animal masks for the guest.”
The first thing that caught my eye when I saw this wedding was the unusual forest green and rich red colour palette, it just works.
Carly and James married in the Autumn and wanted a natural and relaxed feel to their wedding. They hosted their wedding at Newburgh Priory, Yorkshire, with a beautifully decorated marquee for their reception.
Carly looked gorgeous in a creation by the House of Mooshki, with love heart shoes and pretty up do. While James went for a dapper burgundy suit and skinny tie. I so love the green bridesmaids dresses and that striking red rose cascading bouquet which was inspired by Carly’s Nanas wedding bouquet. Perfect.
Thanks so much to the brilliant Lee Scullion for sharing his photographs today.

WWW readers Charli and Mark married back in November on their 9 year anniversary. They married at Knowle Country House, Kent and had a super personal ceremony which sounded just perfect.
I just love the earthy natural feel to their Autumnal day, with an array of earth tones. There were pretty natural blooms, pine cones, moss and so many hand made touches. Gorgeous.
Thanks so much to Kate Hennessy Photography for sharing her lovely images with us.

I have one of the loveliest celebrations to share with you this morning, with some super gorgeous photography.
WWW readers Hannah and George tied the knot on the 7 September 2013. They had a vision of a Devon feel country day with a really relaxed atmosphere. They had a sweet pastel colour scheme, with their DIY décor in pretty shades and the bridesmaids in blush pink and baby blue.
Hannah looked so elegant in a Tara Keely dress with her hair in a pretty half up half down style while George wore a bespoke suit with polka dot tie. I so love those fluffy pom poms, the rustic cake and the lush florals.
Thanks so very much to the wonderful Helen Lisk for sharing her photographs with us today.

Cassie and Scott had the most beautiful summer wedding in the Cotswolds at Cripps Barn. They had an elegant and classic day with a gorgeous emerald colour scheme. There were lush ivory rose bouquets, sparkly Jimmy Choos and pretty bridesmaids in green dresses.
They kept their décor chic and simple while in the evening they had a live band and a bonfire for marshmallow toasting. Lovely.
Thanks so much to the amazing Kerry Diamond for sharing her photographs with us.
