Every now and then I get sent a wedding submission by a bride and groom and I get so very excited.
WWW readers Lewis and Melanie married on the 10th May 2014, holding their wedding reception in a quaint village hall setting. They had a budget of £5000 and homemade near enough everything, from the cake and décor, to the flowers and bridesmaid dresses. Their wedding was a real crafty labour of love. And just you wait until you see the said décor, they decorated 500 tea light filled jam jars and suspended them from the ceiling to create a magical starry sky feel. WOW.
Melanie’s vintage dress was a bargainous £20 a, her shoes were a £5 eBay find and boy did she look beautiful, while Lewis found his dapper checked suit in Next. Fabulous.
Thanks goes to the amazing Foxley Photography for sharing their imagery today.

WWW readers Harriet and Martin chose to marry on the 10th May 2014; hosting their reception at Utopia. It was important that their wedding was not only personal but set in the Yorkshire Dales. They had a whole weekend planned to spend as much time with their loved ones alongside some thoughtful touches. There were graphic icons representing important things about themselves and they chose a poem for each of their guests.
Even the rain and temporarily broken DJ equipment didn’t put a dampener on the celebrations, when guests grabbed the mike for impromptu karaoke. Amaze!
Harriet opted for a stunning Justin Alexander gown and romantic veil with the perfect boho hair do. Martin looked sharp in his tweed waistcoat and the maids looked lovely in lilac.
Thanks so very much to the brilliant Paul Joseph Photography for sharing these dramatic and atmospheric images today.

This morning we are getting totally chic and sophisticated with WWW readers Lisa and Iain’s wedding day, held in September of last year at Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire. They created a traditional country wedding with a modern twist.
I adore the Hydrangea blue scheme, with fluffy statement bouquets and beautiful blue dresses for the bridesmaids. There was a host of amazing wedding suppliers involved; from pretty stationery to letter lights and amazing photography with fun film shots.
Lisa looked stunning in her custom made dress which she teamed with Christian Louboutin heels and Iain donned a dashing blue Jack Bunneys suit. There was also an awesome balloon release which made for some great images.
Thanks so much to Cotton Candy Photography for providing the exquisite photographs today.

You can’t go wrong if when planning a wedding you simply plan a big party and get married too, which is just how today’s couple approached their wedding.
Laura and Pete held their wedding day at One Whitehall Place in London on the 28th June 2014. Their priorities were the food, drink, music and dancing; the perfect combo to ensure guests had an awesome time.
With classic and chic styling there were simple touches and multicoloured flowers.
Thanks goes to the amazing Babb Photo for sharing her imagery today.

Welcome back this afternoon WWWers and a big hello to any new visitors. I have another glorious country wedding to share with you today… yippee :-)
With a vision of a relaxed and rural wedding WWW readers Alison and George married on the 17th May 2014 at Hellens Manor in Herefordshire. It was important to them that their wedding food and flowers were local and seasonal, an ethos which I really adore.
Talking of blooms, just wait until you see the florals in this wedding, the bouquets were bountiful and beautiful.
Alison wore a flirty polka dot tea length dress with pops of turquoise while George went for a dapper three piece suit. So very lovely.
Thanks so much to Marta May for sharing these gorgeous photographs this afternoon.
