Skincare Sunday Ramble & Sneak Peek: 12/05/2013

Hey there lovelies, i hope you are having a lovely weekend :-)

A few weeks ago i was lucky enough to be contacted by Harrods, asking if i’d like to try out a couple of their fab beauty products. I jumped at the chance and picked two products i have wanted to try for ages. Dreaming of perfect skin i chose a serum and a foundation.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair

I have heard so much about serums and in particular Estee Lauder‘s Advanced Night Repair, which has rave reviews all over the Internet. Turning 27 a couple of weeks ago anti aging is a little more on my mind and i want to look after my skin. I have sensitive combination skin, but so far so good.

When applying the serum it is of a non greasy gel like texture which feels refreshing and is absorbed immediately, It is to be applied after cleansing and before moisturising to lock in the goodness. I have to say my skin feels healthier and my pores tighter, I am looking forward to continue using it for the foreseeable future.

Tom Ford Traceless Foundation

I must admit to being a bit of a tomboy and not often indulging in wearing make up. My skin however i always strive to have it looking flawless, and with sensitive skin prone to flare ups and eczema i haven’t had much luck with foundation.

So i have been pretty thrilled with Tom Ford make up Traceless Foundation, which has a moisturising rich texture which my skin adores. I used the shade 01 Alabaster which fits my pale skin to a tee. The coverage is quite light weight and natural, perfect for the summer especially with the SPF 15. Usually with foundation, it’s disappeared or my dry skin is feeling irritated. But with this foundation i forget about it, my skin is fine with it and it stays put.

Thank you Harrods for making my skin happier along with my confidence.

So what have i been up to? Well we had a lovely bank holiday weekend, i had my hair cut for the first time this year!! Whoops! I took A to his swimming lesson, i went shopping twice, for the first time this year also. I kind of brought 3 dresses, which was very naughty, but one of them is for up and coming weddings we are to attend hehe. We went to a May day celebration on the Monday which was really lovely. It’s great to get out and about in the sunshine and do something different. And last weekend i really did that. Did you have a great bank holiday? What did you get up to?

Let me share a peep of something super lovely coming to WWW next week…
