Shane and Gillian met when they were 16 and 8 years later they are now planning their wedding awwww. After a rainy proposal in Donegal they decided to head to Belfast for a relaxed engagement shoot. I love the shots of them in the pub, by the waterside and those fantastic GIFs, so fun!

HOW WE MET: Shane & I met when we were 16, Shane was working in our local petrol station. we got talking over a skipping rope and I eventually asked him out. 8 years later here we are planning the most important day of our lives.

THE PROPOSAL: We were together 6 years when Shane popped the question. He took me up to his holiday home in Donegal for my birthday. We went to our favourite spot on top of a cliff that has an amazing view of the ocean. I was absolutley stunned when Shane got down on one knee in the mud and rain…. but its not Donegal without the mud and the rain.

THE SHOOT: We met Rob from Epic Love Photography at the quirky wedding fair in the Watrefront, Belfast and had an instant connection with him; we actually already had a photographer booked before hand but after meeting Rob we knew we didnt want to work with anyone else. We decided for the Pre Wedding Shoot to use the streets of belfast as the back drop. Rob made it very easy for us and helped us relax and feel really comfortable. We absolutley love the photos, we think they really show our personalities, thanks to Rob.

THE WEDDING: We are getting married on 10 April 2013 and the plans are starting come together nicely. We are aiming for a very relaxed day with a vintage feel. We cannot wait to have Rob from Epic love Photography be part of our day; to capture our first moments as Husband & Wife.

Then its off to America for a 6 month road trip :-)
