Morning my lovelies :-) are you ready for a jammed packed Wednesday? Do pop by at lunchtime and this afternoon for plenty of wedding pretty.
Katy and Frank were married in September at The Watermill at Priston Mill near Bath. They wanted their wedding to be romantic and elegant yet relaxed. They had a really classic timeless feel to their wedding, looking totally gorgeous, with beautiful flowers throughout, personal touches and gorgeous sunshine.
Thanks so much to the lovely Cristina Rossi for sharing her photography with us today.

Names…. Katy and Frank
Wedding Date…. 22nd September 2012
The Proposal…. During a walk after a candlelit dinner
The Vision for the day…. Romantic, elegant but relaxed
The Planning process…. 11 months. Not too stressful
The Venue… The Watermill at Priston Mill near Bath
The Dress + Accessories….. Dress from Camelia Bridal in Northampton, by White One. Both my mother and grandmother wore lace, so I wanted to carry that tradition on. I decided that I’m only having a wedding once so went for a cathedral length lace veil.
Finding the dress…. Tried on about 20 dresses at 5 different shops before finding ‘the one’
Groom’s attire… Ted Baker for Moss. Grey three piece.
The Readings + Music…. Came down the aisle to Moonriver as sung by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s (one of my favourite films) Came back down to Louis Armstrong’s version of La Vie En Rose First dance was Dream a Little Dream of Me. The readings were read by our mutual friends at whose wedding we met (I was the Bridesmaid, he was the best man, cliche I know!)
Beautiful bridesmaids….. My sister Bethany (24) and my cousins Charlotte (14) and Daisy (9)
The Flowers… Roses, lilly of the valley, by Flowers by Passion.
The Cake… Good old M&S. Tasted delicious and there was some left over for our honeymoon.
Your Photographer…. The wonderful Cristina Rossi
The Details + Decor…. I made the place settings and table plan by hand – saved money and felt more personal.
The Honeymoon…. The original honeymoon in a cottage in Pembrokeshire was renamed Minimoon after we won a second honeymoon in a wedding magazine to Grenada.
Memorable moments… Saying I do, making Frank laugh as he said his vows, the emotion on my Dad’s face after the ceremony (actually all day), Having a go on the zip wire in my dress and veil, Seeing old friends.
Advice for other couples… Don’t sweat the small stuff.
I blooming love Katy’s advice not to sweat the small stuff it really is so true :-) Thanks so much to Katy and Frank for sharing their beautiful wedding with us today XOXO Lou
