{w} Hi Delia, could you firstly tell {www} readers a little bit about you?

Hi I am Delia from Delia McDonagh Photography.

I am a dreamer of dreams. I am a photographer, wife and mother. I am an art maker and am smitten with life and hopelessly in love with beauty in all its forms. I love dreamy light, anthropology, and honest laughter. My style is centred around creating genuine images that reflect exactly who you are and beauty of your together. I shoot from the heart capturing exactly how you love not just as I love not just as I see it but how you feel it! I harbour an incredible passion for minutia –the little things that are often missed by the untrained yes. A subtle glance, hair blowing wild in the wind, a stolen kiss…

{w} What do you love/dislike about your job?

It has to be emotions! I love couples in love and at weddings it all comes out. I feel so flattered to be part of such a big day! I always seem to leave thinking “man that was awesome. They were awesome. This job is awesome”.

{w} How did you get into photography and into the wedding industry?

To be honest I consider myself really fortunate as everything happened so organically I photographed a friend’s wedding and then another and it soon just took off from there and now I run a successful business. I do count my blessings.

{w} What do you aim to achieve for your clients?

I want them to feel relaxed, and I strive to capture the love and happiness of their beautiful day shared with their loved ones.

{w} What style is your work?

My style is centred around creating genuine images that reflect exactly who you are and beauty of your together. {w} Could you tell us some information about your packages/prices?

I am based in Bath and cover the South West of England but willing to travel to travel to other parts of the country too.

I charge £1,300 for an image only package and £1,500 for the bespoke Folio Album Package.

There is no time limit on my packages and I also work with an assistant.

{w} Do you have any tips for couples in selecting their wedding photographer?

Value your photography; value your photographer! You need to choose someone who you feel comfortable with; who you share the same vision with. Please ask as much questions as you need too, that’s what we are here for! Please make sure you choose someone who is insured, who has back-up equipment, who you trust! Remember that this day cannot happen over again so please choose someone that has good credibility.
