A DIY Geek Wedding in Italy ~ UK Wedding Blog ~ Whimsical Wonderland Weddings

Happy international Saturday :-) This week i have a gorgeous wedding from Pomezia, Roma, Italy. Ekk!

Monical and Gianluca had a geek chic wedding full of amazing DIY details, from origami birds, to a paper flower bouquet and the lovely stationery. I so adore the geek wedding cakes too. So much fun, so much personality. Be still my beating geek heart.

Thanks so much to Fibre di luce for sharing their images with me via Two Bright Lights, here is what they had to say about the day;

“This is a wedding that was for us an instant love in every single detail, every lovely DIY details. The bride and groom are two skilled computer engineers so they had put a geek touch in their party (take a look at the cake and cupcakes, and also the “fonts” theme for the seating chart). Monica, the bride, has done the paper bouquet and every origami decoration, they’ve designed and assembled the invitations and seating chart with photos taken by themselves, and created a funny photobooth with funny props that every guest enjoyed so much. Thanks to the presence of Alessandro (their lovely baby) as a special guest, Gianluca and Monica have turned their big day in a colorful, original and somehow geek party, enthusiastically liked by everyone, of every age… and also, they’re just beautiful! We can only wish them they never stop living their lives as an amazing game!”
