I thought it would be nice to share something a little different this afternoon.

Bride Emma adored her wedding dress and used to wear it around her house after her wedding while washing up or watching Gavin and Stacey. So she decided to make use of her beautiful dress again and have a post wedding shoot. She headed to the woods in her wellies and skipped along merrily while her photographer took some stunning shots of her.

From Emma: “My wedding day was one of the best days of my life. From the huge chocolate Smartie cake, to my beautiful bridesmaids who supported me all the way and of course, my gorgeous husband! I think out of all the decisions that had to be made, choosing the dress was one of the biggest.”

“I had chosen my dream dress in a magazine and when I went to try it on, was advised to try a few others at the same time, just in case. Hanging on the side of a railing was a dress that quietly caught my eye, so I asked to try it on. As soon as it was halfway on, we’d bonded, this dress and I and that was it; my dream magazine dress didn’t stand a chance. My dress wasn’t even meant to be in the shop, it was delivered there by accident, so I think we were meant to be. Walking down the aisle in it was like being wrapped up in a hug from your best mate, everything was good and we were going to own that aisle!”

“After the wedding, I used to wear it now and again to watch Gavin & Stacey with a glass of vino, or to do the washing up, but the Rock the Frock appealed to me as it gives you the chance to wear your dress again and choose your favourite place to wear it in! I chose Jules as I loved the style of the photos I had seen and she made me feel instantly comfortable. Skipping through the forest in my beloved dress and wellies, I felt like I was straight out of a Jane Austen film and I would love to do it again and again. Our wedding photos were gorgeous, but with this kind of shoot after the wedding, you get the chance to be more individual and I’d highly recommend it to everyone!”
