Wildflowers + Cute Dogs Engagement in the Yorkshire Dales ~ UK Wedding Blog ~ Whimsical Wonderland Weddings

Before we log off for the weekend i have a super sweet engagement shoot to share.

Nicola and Bob had been together for 7 years before Bob popped the question in May, and they went to the Yorkshire Dales with their cute dogs Blue and Ralph, which happened to turn into their engagement shoot. I love those natural and beautiful shots in the wildflowers, so very pretty.

Thanks so much to the lovely Anna Louise Crossley for sharing her photography today, here is what she had to say about the shoot;

“The shots of Nicola and Bob (and their dogs, Blue and Ralph) are from a morning in the Yorkshire Dales. It wasn’t supposed to be an engagement shoot at all; I was going to look at the venue with them and said I’d take my camera: just in case. I’m so glad I did. They’re such a fabulous couple to photograph; so natural. They even started an impromptu waltz on the grass, as they’ve been having lessons in anticipation of the wedding.”

“We got together in 2005, when he was a presenter at a radio station in Leeds and I was the reporter on his Saturday programme… I was his ‘Saturday girl’!

He proposed in March this year. I thought we were going camping with the dogs but it turns out he’d rented a really cool 16th Century tower in Richmond North Yorkshire. He proposed on the rooftop that night under a starry sky. (Go, Bob!!)

We are getting married in the Yorkshire Dales in August.”
