Yep that’s right, G and I, we went out.
These may seem a normal occurrence to many, but because of my long anxiety/panic attack journey we haven’t been out in the evening together for over 2 years!
Remember this photo? ;-) this is what i wore… thanks for helping me choose lovelies!!

Topshop dress + shoes.
It was G’s sister in law’s 30th and his brother and her engagement celebrations. I had been looking forward to it for weeks and even got a new frock, shoes and bag!! I wasn’t worried at all until the night before it dawned on me i ‘should’ be worried. Cue two days of anxiety/stress. I kept going and when my parents turned up to babysit (a BIG deal for me) i was fine. We headed out in the evening sunshine on the hottest day of the year and it felt so so GOOD.

It felt so nice to be dressed up and free for the night… sorry A ;-) hehe! It was lovely to celebrate, catch up and have a little dance. I did get a bit emotional at the speeches i must say. Anyway, that was a big thing for me, and i’m feeling like i’m another step closer. Closer to what i’m not sure, but i am getting there. Bit by bit.
G has some time off of work which has been bliss. G has been on a fitness drive this year after he signed up for a half marathon i October. I am so proud of how hard he has been working towards his goal, he is looking and feeling so good on it. Anyway, he’s been running and cycling up a storm. Many days taking A on hour long bike rides, which they both love. G has been trying to get me to tag along on my bike. The last time i tried a couple of years ago, i huffed and puffed in poor health and didn’t enjoy it.

So i decided to give it another go on Wednesday. G dusted off my bike (literally) and pumped up the tyres. I chose suitable cycling attire and we rode in the countryside. Wind in my hair, a little wobbly, and my legs burned. But it was so so lovely and i am looking forward to the next one. Lets not mention the moment my converse laces got stuck in my gear and i crashed to the ground ;-)

Anyway, i have finally scheduled a little time off this weekend (4 days yay!) and there will be a blog post tomorrow so don’t worry ;-) here’s a peek at whats to come this week…
