Angela proposed to Nick, which i love. This couple do things in their own way and that makes them perfect for WWW.
They headed to a farmers market and park in Glasgow for their engagement shoot. The result is super cute, with Angela’s colour pop red coat and beautiful engagement ring. I love these relaxed, fun and giggling shots.
Thanks so much to the lovely Mack Photography for sharing her images today, here is what she had to say about the couple;
“They both met back in 2005 while working for the same accountancy company while and doing their accountancy exams. After leaving the company they remained good friends and then got together a few years later in 2010.
The engagement took place on the 29th February 2012! Yes Angela did propose to Nick! After a nervous day they were meeting to go for a meal and onto a gig when Angela surprised Nick by asking him to marry her. He of course said yes!
So their plans were to have a short engagement and get married in Pollokshaws Burgh Halls in Glasgow - http://www.
pollokshawsburghhall.co.uk/ This is a great venue for people who want to personalise their day to how they want it. It is allowing Nick and Angela to have a relaxed, big party with all of their friends and family. In the main hall there is a huge neon Wurlitzer organ on the stage so that will be quite a focal point. Angela’s Mum is making the flower pieces for the tables.The room where the drinks reception is happening is going to be decorated with photos of them over the years to keep the touches personal. They have booked indie disco style djs for the evening dancing. Their invitation is in the style of a football ticket as they’re having a 3pm kick off for the wedding. For my pre wedding shoots I like to keep them as informal as possible, but go to a location that is personal to the couple. I ask them what they enjoy doing together and together we come up with a plan of what we’ll do. Angela & Nick wanted to meet up at Pollokshaws for some photos (that’s where we started) just in case the weather in November stop us doing any photos outside. They then wanted to head onto Queens Park which is a lovely park nearby in Glasgow. We wandered to the Glasshouse where we did some photos around the cactus and exotic plants, before heading outside (with the weather on our side) to the farmers market. Angela and Nick go there every second saturday to sample and buy the delightful food. We wandered through the market and before stopping to do some couples shots in the park, which is a personal place to them.
I was lucky enough to be bought a slice of the caramel short cake which was delicious (perfect way to keep a pregnant photographer happy!). I’m really looking forward to their wedding, it’ll be my first wedding back after having the baby and I’m quite excited that it will be a fun day for me!”

Oh doesn’t their wedding sound fun! I love these two :-)
Thanks so much for sharing guys XOXO Lou
