Afternoon you guys, as it nears the weekend i thought i’d share one more uber pretty dose of wedding inspirataion :-)
Jeni from Vanilla Rose Weddings & Events got in touch to ask if i could feature an inspiration shoot she created with some wonderful Oxfordshire wedding suppliers. Of course i said yes once i saw the English country garden theme, the lovely bridesmaid ideas and the table settings. Just beautiful. Thanks to Judi Checketts Photography for sharing her images today.
Thanks so much to Jeni for sending these over to me, here is what she had to say about the shoot;
“I wanted to create an English Country Garden theme for this particular photo shoot, as it’s a style which never tires and I thought it might entice a bit of sunshine this “summer”! The day of the photo shoot was absolutely glorious, and the sun shone for us all day (some say I’m a miracle worker….!) so it must have worked! The inspiration for the theme came from my love for all things natural and British, after all 2012 is turning out to be a patriotic year! The dresses the models are wearing are flirty and very girly, and tie in perfectly with the gorgeous floral bouquets which feature some stunning classic english blooms such as roses, peonies and sweet peas. The venue, Merriscourt Gallery in the heart of the Cotswolds was a wonderful setting for this theme, with it’s clear views over the Cotswold hills, rustic barn features, and oodles of space! I wanted to show brides that a simple English style can be created using a variety of elements from local resources. All of the suppliers I worked with on this photo shoot are all based within easy reach of Oxford, and are thoroughly passionate about the wedding industry. After all, you can never have too much wedding talk!”
