Leo and Victoria were married in October of last year at The Great Barn, Rolvenden, Kent. They wanted a rustic feel to their day, and they had an uber chic grey and pink colour scheme.

From these beautiful sunlit shots you get a real feel of their day, a relaxed  and fun wedding. Full of smiles, love and warmth. This wedding is about those touching moments, not the details.

Wedding Date…. 29.10.2011

The Proposal…. On a walk on a summers evening down by the river in our village.

The Vision for the day…. Rustic feel to the reception with a touch of retro with the old cars.

The Planning process…. Taken place over the space of a year; planned and booked the major things early on and then let the finer details take shape over the rest of the year.

Budget…. £18k spent in total

The Venue… The Great Barn, Rolvenden, Kent

Groom’s attire… Three piece Grey suit with morning jacket and tie. Pale pink rose buttonholes.

Beautiful bridesmaids….. lots of them (5) plus flower girls and a page boy

The Details + Decor…. Grey and pink colours for the bridal party and rustic feel in 18th century rural barn – followed this theme up by using place names in corks, we hung wicker hearts from the ceiling and had little jars filled with candles. We had our names, MR & MRS SHARP, in wooden white letters stood in front of us on the top table.

The Honeymoon…. 3 days in Rye staying at the George on the High Street.

Memorable moments… The ceremony itself. One of the most amazing experiences of my life so far.

Advice for other couples… Don’t stress!! Give yourself plenty of time to prepare for your big day. Don’t leave it all to the last minute. Don’t forget what all the hard work is for – it’ll be the best day of your lives.
