Afternoon WWWers, i hope you are enjoying the sunshine :-)

This afternoon i have the delight of chatting two the lovely Sarah Louise Photography, who are Wales based wedding photographers.

I just love their classic and timeless images. Lets get to know them a little more.

{w} Hi girls, could you firstly tell {www} readers a little bit about you?

Let us introduce ourselves we are Sarah and Louise, we have been friends for the past 11 years and business partners for the past 5 years, we share a real passion for photography, we both have children and love spending time with family & friends.

{w} What do you love/dislike about your job?

Having both close families we love the freedom of working for ourselves, been able to work when we need and to take time out when necessary, as with any business you get what you put in so we are always looking for new ways to develop out business, whether it be with new products or new marketing ideas. Being female photographers we understand and love all the exquisite details that are unique in every wedding we shoot. One of the highlights for Louise is when the bride unveils her wedding dress, sometimes you can never interpret an individuals style, its always lovely to be suprised! Sarah loves flowers and admits to having a teeny obsession for shoes! We always feel honoured to be asked to share in couples special day!

{w} How did you get into photography and into the wedding industry?

Sarah and I developed our friendship through our passion of photography, we originally started our business mainly doing portraits using traditional film whilst developing our wedding business along side, completing a number photography courses including training with Mark Cleghorn, Anabelle Williams and Aspire, we wanted our wedding business to be true to our own individual likes and not to simply follow trends of others.

{w} What do you aim to achieve for your clients?

We want our clients to feel at ease, many of our couples and their wedding guests often comment how how relaxed we made them feel, we very much become apart of the wedding rather than being there to simply do a job, we make a concious effort to chat and be friendly which works in all our favours as we are able to capture some amazing shots often when people are un aware they are being photographed. Obviously as with all photographers we aim for the wow reaction, the look on the faces that tells us we have done our job when the couple view their pictures for the first time, its a special moment for all of us.

{w} What style is your work?

It is hard to describe our style as each wedding is unique and therefore our job is to consider and adapt to the clients individual taste and theme of their wedding. However we endeavour to provide our customers with images that are timeless and will be cherished in many years to come. With two photographers we are able to capture both the more traditional images as well as the candid shots, as they say two eyes are better than one, not only do we capture the bride groom and family but we are always on the lookout for guest reactions and interactions, which often provide the couple with some hillarous reminders of the day. Our images are presented in albums of the highest quality and design which we feel is reflected in our work.

{w} Could you tell us some information about your packages/prices?

Our prices start from £1250, we offer a choice of albums and CD only packages, all our packages include an on line gallery with purchasing capabilities for family and friends, additional options can include parent albums, prints and canvas.

{w} Do you have any tips for couples in selecting their wedding photographer?

Firstly it is important that you build a good relationship with your photographer, you have to be able to get on with them and feel at ease in their company, we often suggest a pre-wedding shoot if couples don’t feel at ease in front of the camera, this gives both the couple and us time to get to know one another to see how we work and eliminate any nerves the couple may have.
