Morning lovelies. I hope you have had an amazing week in the sunshine, we sure have ;-)
If you follow me on twitter, instagram or facebook you will know that on Wednesday i popped down the road to Hitchin Lavender to meet with two lovely girls, WWW’s real bride to be and WWW sponsor Laura Babb and Alexa Loy who is also one of my lovely sponsors here.
Alexa lives in Hitchin so i have briefly met her before, and i hung out with Laura back at the real bride photo shoot. Laura made the trip down from London to catch up and take some pretty pictures.
We had a kind of shoot swap. However it was the hottest day of the year and we were melting… given there was no shade it was also tricky to get shots. But here are mine to begin with. Sorry in advance for the lack of professional quality in comparison to these two very talented photographers hehe!!

The gorgeous Laura.

Alexa :-) and some piccies of me taken by G.
;

;
If you listen you can hear a hum from the bees, it’s incredible… also a little nerve wracking :-) Although the bees don’t even notice our legs brushing past them.

We also get to pick lavender to take home. Mines sitting in a vase right now smelling divine.
;

;
A bit of shoot swapping as they say in the industry ;-)

And here are Alexa’s beautiful images from the afternoon…

I have some beautiful shots of little A from that day… so so love them!!
;

;
Little A loves his camera tee, isn’t it sweet?!
;

;
Alexa bravely handed little A her super super camera, and this is his shot from the day below, not bad huh?!
;

;
As we walked back i spotted this amazing tank, Alexa thought it was a great photo opp.
;

;
And here are Laura’s gorgeous shots from the day. It’s fascinating how different photographers capture moments so differently and use differing processing techniques.

How gorgeous does Alexa look here? So stunning!!
;

;
Oh if anyone is wondering, my heart dress is a Primark number… bargain!!
;

;
And there you have our fun day out in the sun. I was pretty nervous heading out with two pro photographers, but these two just made me giggle and relax. I don’t feel overly confident in front of a camera either, but they made me feel fab :-) I know a lot of these will be going in the family album.
Thanks so much girls for a gorgeous day!! See Laura’s blog post about the day here and Alexa’s blog post here.
Making new friends is the best :-)
