Happy international Saturday you guys :-)

I have something special and unusual to share with you today. Amy and Julian had a stunning wedding ceremony, with a love kite. Where guests pin a ribbon onto a kite before the couple fly it.

This feature is about the feel of the day, the meaning rather than the details. And i have to say it is just beautiful and so very whimsical.

“Amy & Julian wanted a rustic country love ceremony, vintage and classical, quirky and artistic, deep and symbolic. Located in country Victoria and surrounded by dramatic landscape of Australian Golfdields – all played the part and became a dramatic backdrop to their wedding vows.

All friends – artists contributed what they do best to create this special day. Guests each pinned a coloured ribbon onto a kite which they then ran into the field and flew. This simple idea was very symbolic and allowed all guests to take part in this magical event.”
