It’s international Saturday wooooo!! Following on from last weeks Wicked inspired wedding rehearsal, i have the inspired wedding to share today.
I love this contrasting shoot, from the dramatic witch bride, to the super pink styling of the other bride. So much inspiration, so much theatre… LOVE!
Thanks so much to Bit of Ivory Photography for submitting this to me via Two Bright Lights, here is what they had to say about the shoot;
“Meghan, my wedding planner cohort, and I are obsessed with the musical Wicked. We started planning this stylized shoot last March when we were thinking about photo shoot themes to do for 2012. The rest is history once we discovered no one had ever done a Wicked-inspired wedding before, and we’ve been humming the show tunes since then. Emerald Encounter shines a light on the musical lover and theatrics of a wedding. A happified couple celebrates their impending nuptials, surrounded by adoring fans and loved ones. Pinks, silvers, and sparkles decorate all, but almost unnoticed, there is a character in all black that seems to be on the outskirts of this event… Elphaba, our other leading lady, makes an entrance. We have many references made to the relationship Galinda and Elphaba have as well as with Fiyero. And then the story unfolds to whose wedding it really becomes. :)”
