Good afternoon WWWers :-) I have a simply incredible shoot to share with you this afternoon.
Some of the industry’s finest in the South East collaborated to bring some of the best wedding inspiration i have ever laid eyes on.
With the most amazing whimsical flowers from Jay Archer Floral Design, (who tells us more about the shoot further on) stunning dresses from Joanne Fleming Design and captured by the brilliant FO Photography. I must also mention the amazing hair and make up looks created here, which are so very creative.
With four distinctive looks there is something for every bride and groom, whether you are looking for floral ideas, beauty inspiration or fashion finds.
Thanks so very much to this amazing team for sharing with us today….

“This dress, with the wings and hair down, is Elodie. For this we wanted a more ethereal look and Jay made wings using Joanne’s material. The sheath bouquet comprises allium, peacock sword feathers, aquilegea, cow parsley and grasses. The dress, ‘Elodie’, is a 1920s-style drop-waist design in soft French lace, with beaded detailing, silk organza rosettes and a handkerchief hem lace overdress. I love how the photography captures Jess in nymph like poses, as though she has just stepped out of the flower beds. The hair is positively dreamy and so romantic, showing off Jess’s auburn locks a treat. The makeup, although smokey, would work well for a day to evening bridal look.” Jay tells me.

Jay continues; “The dress with the embroidery is called Kathyrn. We wanted a darker look for this one, hence the darker makeup with the eyes shaped to echo the leaves; dramatic hair to give that quirky, mad women edge and dramatic bouquet of succulents, weeping pear, love lies bleeding, piano roses, pheasant feathers, lotus pods, peony tulips, parrot tulips and hellebores. Seb is seen wearing a circlet of hellebores and ivy, as well as a buttonhole of pheasant feathers and a lotus head; Jess also wears this as a wrist corsage. The velvet suit compliments all the elements perfectly and brings it all together. The dress ‘Kathryn’ is a knee length number with pannier effect skirt and corseted foundation. The fabric is an embroidered silk dupion, with bodice embellishment of silk ribbon embroidery, appliqued metallic silk organza flowers, and beaded detailing, all by hand crafted by Joanne.”

“‘Cecile’ is the shorter dress seen with the pink and yellow flowers. It is a french lace over double layered silk organza, with integral silk edged tulle petticoats. The bouquet is made of sweet pink, mimosa, paper tissue flowers and soba wood flowers. In one image, Jess also wears peonies in her hair; the bouffant of which was expertly assembled by Kasia. The makeup is Parisian chic, with a slightly 50′s edge; playful and flirty. The black suit looks sharp and although is London, the photography echos a land far away…” Explains Jay.

“‘Maria’ is the final dress; named after Madame de Tourvel in Les Liaisons Dangereuses…..the rich silk damask neckline but more demure neckline and 3/4 sleeves suit her character perfectly…. a playful pomander ball of piano roses and a headband of love lies bleedings, rose petals, soba wood flowers and peonies finishes this look off with soft make up and that amazing bouffant!” Jay concludes.
