Louisa and Joel headed to Buxton for their engagement shoot where they frolicked and giggled with three cute dogs and some yummy ice cream. I so love their quirky outfits, Louisa i am swooning over your attire here :-)

Louisa tells me all about herself and Joel; “I met Joel on the dance floor of a punk rock night club in Manchester, called satan’s hollow! We danced all night and I made sure he got my number! He rang me the next day and we haven’t been apart since!”

“We have been holidaying in a beautiful town in Spain called Moraira for several summers, it is our most favourite place and is a sanctuary. Joel proposed on the week of our fifth anniversary; we had been for a beautiful meal by the sea, and drank cocktails in our favourite bar and headed back to the villa, the stars were out and it was silent! He asked me to come over and proposed! The ring fit perfectly and I literally couldn’t have been more surprised or elated!”

“Finding a photographer to fit our personalities and creativity was important for us, and after much searching I stumbled across Jordanna Marston. I instantly loved her relaxed way of working and her ability to capture emotion and the moment in a single image. We visited the hustling town of Buxton with Jordanna for our engagement shoot, which we were just a little nervous for! The nerves soon diminished as we met Jordanna by the ice cream van and began taking snaps of us and the dogs! We both loved the day, and know we have made the right decision in our wedding photographer! “

“Our wedding has an eclectic and rustic feel to it, with candles in jan jars and sunflowers and herbs in the bouquets. Our close friends are playing our favourite songs on the piano, playing Tom petty songs with acoustic guitar and generally setting the scene! We wanted to ensure a friendly and relaxed party environment, and have opted to have Jordanna’s fancy dress photo booth available for our guests to enjoy! The cake is a tower of our favourite cheeses, which will be served at the buffet and various individual pies will be served at the wedding breakfast.

There is a real home made feel to the wedding, from the invitations, to my veil that I have made myself, and hope that because of this everyone will feel at home in our beautiful venue, Styal Lodge. We are marrying on 14th July which is our current anniversary and six years since the day we met!”
