With that wonderful summer wedding season creeping up on us at an extremely fast rate I thought it about time I offer brides the chance to win one of my alternative, keepsake button bouquets.
Here at Beaubuttons I lovingly create bespoke button bouquets as a quirky alternative option to traditional bouquets. I will design a custom bouquet that will reflect the style of your wedding. I source beautiful vintage buttons and sometimes brooches in a whole array of colours and styles to produce whimsical bouquets with a fresh and creative edge.

Amanda says:
How exciting! Your button bouquets are beautiful! My perfect button bouquet would be similar to the beachy one pictured first but would be in teal/tourquoise with some off white and crystally bits. They are all so lovely though it would be hard to decide!
Daure Dempster says:
My wedding theme was set completely by the pearl and red Vivienne Westwood Ladydragon heels I snapped up for the big day. I'd love my wedding to reflect the fun and frivolity of these amazing shoes and a red button bouquet is definitely called for. I'm looking for something slightly different than flowers that I can treasure forever and a Beau Buttons bouquet would definitely complete my look and make me smile on the big day.
hayley says:
Wow how exciting! My ideal bouquet would be quirky, fun and mostly yellow, to go with our geeky yellow relaxed theme, maybe with some gaming or comic book references thrown in, especially on the button hole.
Grace says:
Oooh, beautiful bouqeuts! We're having a really relaxed wedding with tradition being thrown out the window! The bouquet would be fun and sweet, with splashes of red (as that's my favourite colour!)
Charlie says:
I think these bouquets are so beutiful and innovative. My engagement ring is a black pearl surrounded by aquamarine stones and I would love a bouquet to compliment these grey/blue shades. The vintage style of these bouquets would work perfectly with the 1950s vintage tea party we have planned for after our ceremony, and I know a Beaubutton bouquet would be versitile and sustainable to last through to the black tie dinner dance we have planned for the evening.
Bec says:
These look fabulous. As my wedding is in a cinema and my dress is hollywood glamour styled I think my bouquet would require feathers or fur around it - luxury looking. With blue, black and silver buttons, with plenty of sparkle. I'd love one to treasure for ever.
Beth Askew says:
I love the elegance and sympicity of a hydrangea flower and would my bouquet to repress rice of this. The natural beauty of the tones that can be found in the flowe if blues, greys would encapsulate this with the amazing buttons and designs that are created. My wedding is vintage inspired and an such a bouquet would make a wonderful enhancement to not only walking down the ailse and the photos but to the memory of the vision of they day I'm seeking to create Beth x
Susie Q says:
Oh, I love button bouquets!
Our wedding's going to be a mixture of vintage, shabby chic & colourful and modern, so I'm looking for something to match that. Our colour scheme is bold; hot pink & black, however we're using them as accents, so the bouquet would be this colour, creating a lovely contrast with my uber-white dress. And there should be sparkles. There should ALWAYS be sparkles! I've got a couple brooches collected from throughout the years and I'd love to incorporate these to the bouquet. Something old you see!
All in all, it should be something I'll be proud to always have on display! :)
Emma (Beaubuttons) says:
Am absolutely loving reading all the entrants so far... what a creative bunch you all are! ;)
Jenni says:
Oh my goodness how beautiful are these?! My ideal bouquet would be similar to the second to last one - vintage ivory - and to match my 'something old'. When I was a little girl, I saw one of my Grandmother's brooches and asked her if I could have it when I turned 18. On my 18th birthday she gave it to me - I couldn't believe she's remembered after all those years! That brooch will be on the 'stem' of my bouquet, and I would love something that would compliment it perfectly!
Lou {www} says:
wow girls, your weddings sound incredible!! i hope you will be letting me feature them hehe ;-) thanks for your entries and good luck! ekkkssss xxx
Ellen says:
Mine would reflect my spring, vintage wedding. Lots of glass buttons and pearls including my nanna's brooch for sentimental reasons. Finished off with a ivory lace cuff and an olive green handle to match my dress and hubby to be's cravat. Then 2 bridesmaids with matching smaller boquets, the flower girls with their little ones and the grooms men with their buttonholes.
Hannah Jones says:
My mum would love this! She is getting married next year and loves alternative little details. I'm working with her to create an Art Deco themed wedding, so lots of red, black and whites with some glitz and glam thrown in would be the perfect wedding gift I could give her.
(Liked on facebook) Fingers crossed :)
Paula Bell says:
My ideal button bouquet would be creamy/ivory with a splash of pink to match my bridesmaids dresses. Have some appliqués and diamantes through it to give it some sparkle :) it would be quite big but very unique and special
Love this idea a beautiful bouquet that is a lasting reminder of my big day :)
X
Zoe says:
I love how different these bouquets are to flowers and also the fact that you can keep them forever! My wedding is going to be very relaxed and simple so I like the simplicity of the cream bouquet with vintage broches.
nicola says:
I would love a purple/blue one to go with the underskirt of my fabulous 50's style dress. I can't wait to get married in Italy with one of these fab creations - my other half and i love the idea of having something that we can treasure for ever
jane bloomfield says:
My wedding colour is cadbury purple, i was hoping to have a bouquet that was unusual and different one of these would be perfect and would keep forever x
A mix of purple, dusky pink, ivory with a little touch of sparkle would be my ideal button bouquet xxx
Jane says:
I love these bouquets, that give a quirky and original element to the big day. I would love to have one made that would capture the essence of who me and the groom are. So a welsh and english theme, simple and elegant while also including splashes of fun so I do like the love heart sweet buttons, having a red dragon here and there and colours that provides a feel of an English country garden. This would ultimately compliment the 50's style that I'm aiming for.
Nimet says:
Although I have found a wedding florist already, lately I have been toying with the idea of having a bouquet that lasts forever rather than real flowers. I've been following Emma on Twitter for ages and I've been really close to giving her a call but I really can't spare the expense at the moment. Winning this would be ideal!
Our wedding is a London City wedding with a mix of Indian and English cultures. My wedding dress is an original 1940s vintage lace dress. My bouquet would be colourful - a classy mix of demure vintage class mixed with rich colourful tones. Maybe some sari material and some offcuts of my dress in there somewhere? I'd trust Emma to make something beautiful! xx
Amy says:
Love the idea of a button boquet! If I had the chance to have a beautiful button bouquet I would have it filled will colours and quirky buttons, maybe a little bit of steampunk influence to top. My aim is for my wedding to be fun, layed bck and care free so would love a bouquet to match. My shoes are bright red with little blue swallows on and a big blue bow so would be great to echo these. Can you tell I'm a little bit excited! X
Natasha Young says:
My ideal bouquet would be be golds and creams and incorporating my family heirloom victorian fox buttons as my wedding dress is quite a simple but gorgeous 70's vintage dress. I love these bouquets so much! xx
Bethany Hadcroft says:
Hey!
I saw your beautiful creations at a vintage affair wedding fair. I fell in love and have been poring over them ever since. My colour theme is pastels: pink, green, grey, yellow and silver. So it would Sort of be a mix between the love heart bouquet and the sparkly pearl bouquet above. I'd also like some sentimental items embedded so that I can still take my missed loved ones down the aisle with me. Beth x
Jo Crowley says:
I love the idea of a button bouquet, something to treasure and display for years to come. My ideal bouquet would be mostly cream with a few hints of dark cerise to match my amazing Christian Louboutin shoes.
I'm really not a flower person so we are having origami flowers made by a wonderful friend (http://www.myidlehands.co.uk/) for the bridesmaids bouquets and buttonholes, something like this would compliment that brilliantly!
Lucy A says:
Gorgeous! I would love mine to be mustard yellow & poppy red with lots of glossy buttons (to match our colours) and with lace entwined (for our Nottingham roots) but with some quirky bits n pieces like owls and plectrums (for our love of nature and music) in there too!
Jessica says:
My ideal button bouquet would be in ivory tones with lots of sparkle. A definite vintage feel, but a modern and romantic take.
Laura C says:
Wow - what an amazing competition! I would love to win this for my secret (shhhh!) trip to the registry office the day before our informal celebration. I want to hold something but I hate the idea of a bouquet for only 20mins which would die anyway. This would be perfect. My ideal button bouquet would be green, grey and ivory, with mother of pearl and bits of silver in. Very natural dark green buttons as an underlayer, with the smaller buttons light grey and ivory to lift the whole colour scheme. I'd wrap the stem in light grey wool to show off my love of craft and knitting. x
Emma Stock says:
Your bouquets look beautiful and unique, we are getting married on the beach in Cornwall and I have searched everywhere for something that would work and I think I have now found it.....thank-you
Laura F says:
Ahhh... I am super keen on a button bouquet (mainly inspired by the fact that I have three young children and so a bouquet of delicate flowers probably won't last five minutes!). The pictures here are amazing - I'd be like a kid in a sweet shop trying to choose - I love the multi-coloured one with the big frill around it above. I think I'd want go for berry shades - pinks purples and deep reds, with perhaps a little bit of gold and shimmer, I also know that my little girls would LOVE little button posies - especially if they could choose some of the buttons themselves - I think it'd be a great way to get them involved!
Helen says:
I'm a dress maker so a button bouquet is simply essential! My ideal button bouquet would be large in size and have curved shaped edges like a giant daisy. It would be ombre coloured out from a centre circle and have lovely soft sheer tulle fabric ribbons draping down so it would look beautiful when I dance down the isle after saying our vows. Sparkleness is good too! x
