Morning {www}ers, I have the most beautiful inspiration shoot to share this morning.
Laura the talented wedding planner behind Perfect Choice Planning, created this shoot around the concept of a Springtime Romance. Alongside a whole host of amazing suppliers, she organised a plethora of wedding looks with just one beautiful model, the scale of the work involved in this shoot blows me away.
I particularly love the boho bridal look, the amazing dessert table and the pale pink tulip bouquet…. stunning.
Thanks so much to Mark Tattersall Photography for letting me use his images today.
Here is what Laura had to say about the shoot;
“Who doesn’t love Spring? It brings love, warmth, romance and the fresh air of a new year. But how do you capture that in an image?
One Sunday in January 2012 I brought a fantastic group of suppliers together for a gorgeous and romantic styled shoot, advertising the gorgeous products and talents of those involved. I have done a few styled shoots before now and they have all been so well received so I decided to do another within a theme that is close to my heart; love.
I love romance and I love being in love, so I wanted to portray the range of emotions that come with romance and what better season to style it in than the dreamy, beautiful Spring season – romantic in its own right.”

“The suppliers on the day were fantastic; a huge help and great fun to be around. After working with Pearl Bridal Boutique on my last shoot, Ice Maiden, and seeing the extensive gorgeous collections that she stocks, I knew that I needed to showcase her beautiful dresses in this shoot. Nicole from Pearl Bridal is a delight to be around. She is so helpful and positive, no wonder brides love her and her dresses.”

“Mark Tattersall was the fabulous photographer on the day. After seeing his website and work featured on blogs, I knew that I wanted to work with him, knowing his beautiful-with-an-edge photography was perfect for the shoot and the images I wanted to achieve.”

“The flowers and floral decorations were provided by Laurel Weddings, who showcased her not-as-well-know but equally as impressive head pieces and accessories in the Ice Maiden shoot. Her products are beautiful and she brought a silk bouquet, a beautiful hand-tied bouquet and a fresh heart-shaped bouquet with wiring, as well as a wrist corsage, head-wreath, large willow heart, birdcages, decorated candelabra and small white ornamental hearts. We were spoilt for choice on the day with products to use!”

“Eaves Hall was the perfect venue and as soon as I went to view it, I fell in love with it. I felt like a bride choosing her venue and knowing she had found “the one”, and I wanted to share that with everyone. The staff at the venue were so helpful and accommodating, allowing us a bedroom for preparation and keeping us supplied with tea and coffee on the day. We had the full run of the venue, which was great of them to allow that as they had bridal consultations throughout the day!”

“The cakes, sweet treats and serving plates were provided by the very talented Cakes By Beth. I can personally vouch for the quality, amazing taste and passion that is Cakes By Beth. She took the brief for this shoot and went into creative, passionate overdrive, and the results weren’t just beautiful and delectable, but also perfect for the theme. She created a fantastic cake trio that, in her words, “are the future”, and the largest cake sported a beautiful flower cake-topper provided by Rosa & Co. This amazing creation consisted of a large, medium and small cake displayed together as both individual cakes and one cake itself. She also provided the MOST delicious heart shaped mini Victoria Sponge cakes, cake pops and highly creative blackboard biscuits. I’m sure the model enjoyed getting her teeth stuck into them on the shoot!”

Our gorgeous model on the day, Sarah, was transformed into a different “bride” with each dress by the wonderful Flossy and Leigh. I can’t recommend these lovely ladies enough – they were so helpful and professional on the day, and not only did they create fabulous looks that I wanted for the dresses, but brought their own creativity and attention to detail that was very valuable on the shoot. The listened to exactly what the brief said and added their personal and perfect touch to each look.

“Love Umbrellas supplied us with five stunning umbrellas. Klair unfortunately couldn’t be with us on the day but we kept good care of her products and had lots of fun displaying them on the outside steps in one particular shot. It’s amazing how we achieved it with it being a slightly breezy day. Her products looked fantastic and we even managed to light one up for some creative indoor shots. These umbrellas are fabulous, and waterproof so perfect for a wedding or occasion in the unpredictable British weather!”

“We spent the whole day moving around the venue and grounds capturing the beauty of the venue and wonderful products. Sarah was a fabulous model with a great look that worked with every style we wanted. Even with the failing light towards the end of the day (as we all know, January isn’t renowned for its long days of light) Mark captured some amazing shots that really captured the various emotions of springtime romance.”

“For me, the shoot was a complete success. It was wonderful to meet and work with new and talented suppliers, which is one of my reasons for styling these shoots. Seeing all the hard work and preparation come together really made it all worth it, and I hope you’ll agree that the images really portray the exceptional products and talents of all those who took part on the day.”
