This couple are so so cute!! And the photography on this here page is just breathtaking…. Mick captures them perfectly. It looks as though they are having a total blast too.

Thanks so much to the amazing Miki Photography for sharing his work today, here is what he had to say about the shoot;

“When Lauren, Dan and I first spoke about doing the engagement shoot along the South bank, there were so many famous landmarks we could have used as full-on back drops but then I actually met them and they were such a young, fun, and in-love couple and probably amongst the cutest I’ve ever met(!).  So instead I wanted to show case that and decided we would only hint at such landmarks being in around where we were.  Also since it was winter we decided to have some fun with the lights along the riverbank once the sun set – we really had a blast and Lauren & Dan were game for anything haha!”

Lauren & Dan’s Story….

Lauren:

Dan and I grew up in different churches but the same denomination so growing up we would always bump into each other at Summer camps or festivals etc and then I moved down South nearer to were Dan and his parents lived and we started to hang out more and more.  We were really good friends for a few years before we started going out and now we’re getting married! It might seem strange to some but he’s my first and only boyfriend and the man I get to spend the rest of my life with and I’m soooo happy!

Dan:

We haven’t taken this decision lightly and we’re surrounded by such a great support group of friends and family and the best advice they gave me was to get a career and buy a house before thinking about any serious romantic commitments and that’s what I did! But when I thought of someone to share it all with I couldn’t think it could be anybody else but Lauren – she really is a gift from God to me and I’m so looking forward to finally making that commitment in front of our family and friends.

Lauren:

We will be getting married in March at Bluntswood Hall in Hertfordshire and all our family and closest friends from all over the UK will be there to share it all. It such a beautiful place, with 17th Century converted barns located in beautiful country surroundings near some very tranquil villages. So we’ve decided to have both the ceremony and reception there so as to allow for a real organic flow to the day and not have to worry about getting guests to and from different locations. We can’t wait!

Thanks so much to Lauren and Dan…. we cannot wait to see your wedding!!! xoxo Lou
