Morning lovelies :-)

It’s December…. yippeeeee and i am getting into the spirit properly this year :-) Are you?

This week has been a bit tricky, i have struggled to juggle looking after little A, dealing with lots of work and new projects, shhhhhh, along with the usual cooking, cleaning, blah blah blah. So i have been feeling pretty exhausted, but you know what i am loving it :-) We are just looking into some more permanent childcare in the new year so little A gets to have some fun whist i can get lots of blogging done hehe.

Last weekend we got into the Christmas spirit well and truly. I took the whole weekend OFF!! And G was also off… it was a minor miracle hehe. So we headed to our local town Christmas light switch on and had so much fun, A being 2 now is really enjoying everything this year, we saw Father Christmas, fireworks, A went on his first fairground ride, he got to go in a real life fire engine, and then of course the lights were switched on followed by the salvation army band playing Christmas hymns. It was perfection, we headed home, and had hot chocolate whist watching the X Factor mmmmmm.

On Sunday, i was lucky enough that my parents took Austin out with them for a walk,  which gave G and I a much needed day date… it had been a while i tell you!! I am a die hard Twilight fan and have been dying to go and see Breaking Dawn…. so we headed to the cinema. It was amazing, and yes i sat in the aisle seat hehe… going to the cinema in the morning is genius, it’s quiet and we had time for lunch after. And guess what, we went out to eat… and i ate a proper meal out in a restaurant!! Woop… we had a Nandos which we had never tried and we couldn’t believe how yummy it was hehe. And i didn’t get poorly… for the win!

We headed home and downloaded Monopoly on the iPad, it’s so much fun…. i do love a board game and then we settled down with A in the evening. I honestly haven’t had such a great weekend in years, and i am smiling just writing about it. So if your sat there in your jammies, writing emails…. get up…. get dressed, find out whats going on locally and get out and enjoy yourselves…. it’s Christmas!!!!!!

I also attempted to pamper myself a little this week, i was lucky enough to receive a gorgeous Glossy Box last week, and i am loving the products so much!! Here i am in my face pack hehe!! Honestly its so exciting when you get one each month, they never fail to cheer me up, its a great present idea. And i actually attempted to paint my nails red glitter for the festivities… OK not a great job… but i cannot afford a manicure LOL!!

So girls, give yourself a treat and a pamper, you will feel all the better for it… my nails may be chipped and manky now… but for those couple of days i felt so glam {when viewed from a distance}. I have also managed to nearly finish my Christmas shopping now, i’ve done it nearly all online… organised i know, but with my workload this year i have to be organised, so i can relax and enjoy.
