Afternoon peeps… i am presuming you are putting your feet up after a day battling at the shops for Christmas pressies :-) Well fear not i am here for a little love therapy hehe.
Grace and Justin being architects wanted to use some spectacular buildings as backdrops to their engagement and it works famously.
Thanks so much to the amazing Sheffield based wedding photographer, Tierney Photography for sharing his work today, here is what he had to say about the shoot;
“I love urban shoots especially in Sheffield because of the wide range of buildings. Sheffield has it all from old Victorian industrial buildings to contemporary architecture. Grace and Justin are both architects so I can see why they chose these locations. We started off at the Victoria Quays which is a large canal basin near to the centre of Sheffield. The next location was the iconic Sheffield landmark the Park Hill flats. This building is Europe’s largest listed structure and part of it has recently been restored. On the day of the shoot it just happened to be the open day for the first of the new apartments. Being interested in the apartments – Grace & Justin were keen to have a look. I had to take advantage of this cool location and combine a viewing with a shoot The last location was to the redeveloped Wicker area of Sheffield including Justin’s workplace. We finished the shoot inside the building using the modern interior of the studio as a backdrop. Here are some of favourites from this very enjoyable shoot.”
