Have you gotten over this morning’s fabulousness yet? I’m not sure i have, but none the less it’s time to share part 2, more incredible portraits against the stunning backdrop of Santorini. G please whisk me off here on holiday…. stat!! Hehe ;-))
Thanks so much to the incredible S6 Photography for sharing his work today:
Well what can I say Jon at S6 Photography was fantastic and amazing! He put me at ease completely and captured the most amazing photos, I have never got so much joy out of looking at photos as I do when I look at our wedding photos. I am so so glad we were able to get him to come to Santorini with us to shoot our wedding and I can’t thank him enough for his awesomeness!!
I was a little worried about the flowers but they worked out great, we went for blue and ivory roses to match our colour scheme for the whole wedding and when they arrived on the morning I was thrilled with how they looked.
The Details + Decor….
I did have to consider my weight allowance on the plane when planning the decor of the day however I made sure we had a few personal touches that really reflected me and Paul. We love photos and so we got an instant camera for our guest book so each person has a photo with their message. I used small wooden alphabet blocks to make everyones name for the place settings and used them in the seating plan too. We had Lovehearts as our favours and a big hit was the bubbles which looked fantastic floating in the sunshine.
I have to say the whole day was magical but a few moments were truly memorable, the first would have to be when my Dad came in to get me and he was overcome with emotion, it still brings a tear to my eye thinking about that moment! Seeing Paul turn around and smile as I was walking down the aisle and making our entrance together to our guests singing!
Another truly memorable, if slightly comical, moment was whilst we were having photos a small dog decided to attack the train of my dress and left a few paw prints up the back!!
Advice for other couples…
Our wedding day feels like a dream to me so get a good photographer so that you can remind yourself it was for real and keep reliving all the amazing moments!
Our honeymoon giftlist was intended to take us to Africa and I’m pleased to say that we are planning our honeymoon for September and will be going to Tanzania on safari, I can’t wait!
Thanks so much to Tracy and Paul for sharing their stunning day with us today….. do leave them some comment love, aren’t the images to die for!!!?? I think Jon deserves a huge round of applause for his images… wow wow wow xoxo
