I have an exquisite bridal inspiration shoot to share this morning, organised and created by the amazing Always Andri Wedding Design and captured by the fabulous Fiona Kelly Photography.
I so love the ethereal, pretty, British feel with a Grecian twist thanks to the stunning wedding dress. I love the delicate garlands, the florals with a hint of blue, the glass bottles and that seriously beautiful cake. All in all this shoot is a runaway success and i think it gives pure inspiration to all you planning couples out there. This is the ultimate in pretty and mysterious wedding inspiration.… swoooonnnn.
Here is what Andri had to say about the shoot;
“The beautiful silk chiffon ‘Isadora’ wedding dress was what first attracted me to Sally Lacock’s designs so it was a delight to be able to use it for the shoot and Sarah complemented the dress with a fabulous up do and glamorous makeup– Terri’s eyes looked amazing! With the very distinctive antique gold colour we decided to stick to a neutral colour palette with pops of blue shades in the flowers and strip back to a very minimal look with the décor making the most of The Walled Garden’s lovely wrought iron gazebo and furniture.”
At the start of the year Fiona put a shout out on Twitter that she wanted to do an inspirational photo shoot and would anyone be interested in getting involved. Having known Fiona for a while now, (we’re neighbours) I thought it would be a great chance to finally work together. Other fab suppliers who agreed to get involved were florist Steph Turpin from Fairy Nuff Flowers, Sangeeta & Olivier from jewellery and accessories company Olivier Laudus , Sarah Dickenson for Hair & Makeup and as our model Terri from The Bride Fairy.
With these key suppliers in place we needed to decide on a theme, we already knew we wanted to have an outdoor location and Fiona thought a Secret Garden theme would be a good one to work on, so I put together some mood boards which, with Fiona’s inspiration images, we ran by the team and they loved. The next step was to find the ideal location and what would Terri wear?
As a wedding planner you get to see and hear about some great venues so I was lucky in that I already knew about the fabulous Walled Garden at Cowdray with its beautifully designed gardens and perfect ‘secret garden’ door. Once the venue was on board I set about looking for dresses. From the beginning Fiona had said she didn’t want a typical wedding dress so when I found Sally Lacock and her beautiful ethereal vintage inspired dresses I knew we had struck gold.
On the day we were also joined by Andrea from Cake by Sugar who as well as the lovely miniature wedding cake and cookies brought along some scrummy mini cupcakes for us to eat and Charlie Davis who sourced us the lovely frames and mirrors from Dodo Vintage and helped me style the shoot.
At the end of the day the whole team was really pleased with the way the shoot turned out and Fiona’s beautiful photography perfectly captured the stunning venue and all the great ideas, products and talents of all involved. I also hope some of the lovely details will help inspire all those brides out there planning their weddings.
The lovely Elizabeth at Bridal Musings is posting the second half of this gorgeous inspiration series, go here to have a peek ;-) xoxo

It's so lovely to see the other half ~ it's amazing how different the shoots are considering they were in the same location! Love the bouquet with a hint of 'something blue', the birdcage, the musical note heart garlands and the vintage keys! xx

Everytime I see an UK shooting, I cannot doubt that every wedding photographer could gladly move to UK just to have such a choice of beautiful, enchanting locations. This one is superb. Of course, the bride is lovely and every detail is perfectly matched, but the location makes the difference, in my opinion.
Awesome work.

Love the color choices...the model is beautiful too. The dress is really flowy and adds to the whimsical/garden/fantasy theme...wonderful job. Thanks for the inspiration!
