Wow wow wow i love this engagement session soooooo much, a fab backdrop {Leeds}, funky couple and gorgeous multi coloured balloons.

Thanks so much to the awesome Leeds based wedding photographer, Toast of Leeds for sharing her work today, here is what she had to say about the shoot;

“I met Cass last year when I went over to East Riddlesden Hall where I’m a preferred supplier, to shoot some shots of their rather splendid building for my blog. Cass works in the office there and mentioned she was getting married.

I dropped a few hints about being her photographer but she was having none of it.

A couple of months later, she emailed me out of the blue to ask me if I was still free.

We had our initial consultation where I met her lovely fella John, in one of our favourite pubs, The Adelphi – I think it was a sign! We both love a pint or two, good music and weddings with a little more soul.

We decided to do their pre-wed shoot at some of their old Leeds haunts so we spent a sunny Sunday trekking round the backstreets of Leeds popping into yet another of their fave pubs, The Reliance, for a pint of cider along the way.

Modelling runs in John’s family – he’s a complete pro when it comes to posing – Cass was a tiny bit more apprehensive, but a bunch of balloons later and I had them running about and laughing quite a lot.

They get hitched in the summer at the gorgeous Danby Castle and I’m sure it’ll be lots of fun and will have an excellent play-list, not to mention some decent ale.”
