There’s something about Paris isn’t there? A feeling of romance, spontaneity and love. I so yearn to visit, and i hope one day i will. In the meantime i will swoon over images such as these. How sweet of Matt to propose the night before their anniversary shoot, to turn it into an engagement shoot….. j’adore….

“Jess and Matt came to Paris from the UK to celebrate their anniversary. They are not yet married, but they have been together for 8 years. During their anniversary shoot they asked if I could recommend a romantic restaurant for dinner that night. I suggested Sorza, an intimate and très chic restaurant on the Ile Saint Louis. They took my suggestion and after dinner Matt proposed to Jess and she said yes. Their anniversary shoot turned into an engagement shoot!

Here’s what Jess had to say about the proposal:

“… It was so romantic. The meal was delicious, I don’t think I’ve ever eaten so well, a perfect recommendation. Then we walked back through some of the streets and sat down by the river for a while, then went over a bridge… looking at the lights down the river & in the sky and then he told me he loved me and that he had a special question, he got down on one knee as well! It was so surreal…”
