So hands up…. who likes their food? Yup me too, and i think this couple do too, afterall they only went and choose the amazing River Cottage as their wedding reception venue. My oh my i wish i was invited to this wedding breakfast :-) Rachel makes a beautiful bride, and you can see the love between her and Andy flowing.
Thanks so much to the amazing Devon wedding photographers, Lime Leaf Weddings for sharing their work today, here is what they had to say about the day;
“Rachel and Andy have had many a happy meal at River Cottage (Lime Leaf fact – it is actually called Park Farm) in Axminster and could think of nowhere more fitting for their intimate wedding reception. River cottage HQ doesn’t have a license to perform the actual marriage, so the ceremony itself was held at Haselbury Mill in Yeovil and the couple travelled to River Cottage in style in a vintage taxi which once starred in ‘Buster’ with Phil Collins.
Once at River Cottage everyone was carried down to the Farm by tractor and trailer and after a glass or two of mulled wine in the yurt, it was time for the speeches and the fantastic meal which was introduced course by course by the head chef Gill. The food was fantastic (the poached pears pictured below tasted even better than they looked) and despite the cold weather outside (snow in fact) the room was very cosy and the perfect setting for a winter feast. The meal was followed by a ceilidh band which kept everyone warm with the dancing.”

I love that photo of the food being prepared, that is a great idea! Looks like a sort of amazing desert tessellation! Definitely getting added to my photography inspiration file.
