Thanks so so very much to the gorgeous Sassy from Assassynation, who specialises in unconventional wedding photography, here is what she had to say about the shoot;
“Jenna and Chris are getting married in June and the engagement shoot took place in and around Oxford. We wanted to have a contrast between city and country and include so iconic Oxford scenery. We stumbled across an incredible shop selling all sorts of wonderful things including masks so thought it would be fun to choose some props for the shoot.”
How we met: Childhood sweethearts. We met at school when we were sorting out our sixth form timetables. Chris was the new boy. We ended up being late for our first geography lesson which meant there was only one desk left so we had to sit together. The rest is history! Tenth year together.
Wedding plans: Church ceremony at local church. Reception is a summer garden party theme. Pimms in the ballroom at Stanford Hall in Lutterworth followed by hog roast and picnic style food in a marquee in the grounds. Cake stall with homemade cakes. Croquet and cricket on the lawn. Live jazz/funk band all day. Tea dresses and summer suits. Fun and frolics!
