Ohh i so love all the bridal sessions getting submitted to this little blog right now, all ready for your delectation and of course to help insire your wedding day look.
A high street wedding dress, and an alternative model show’s just how you don’t need to conform, i just love that feather in the model’s hair and it goes without saying the red lips rule!! Super stunning imagery right HERE :-)
Thanks so much to the fabulous Birmingham based wedding photographer, Melanie Martin Photography for letting me reproduce her work today, here is what she had to say about the shoot;
“Good things come to those who wait. I really believe in that and now even more so. I had bought this lovely Monsoon 1950s style dress quite some time ago, I knew that I wanted Megan to model but the shoot had to be cancelled twice at the last moment. The rough theme for the shoot was “Runaway Bride”, essentially the bride who got cold feet. Hence the photos in the phonebox, Megan was obviously in need to call a taxi. Hannah, the make up artist, did a fabulous job in enhancing the striking good looks of Megan. And the 4th party to the shoot – the weather – played nicely along too, glorious sunshine and warm enough so Megan didn’t have to freeze. Most shots were taken in a churchyard in Romsley, Worcestershire, the phonebox and other locations were close by.“
