Classic, Real Weddings

Good morning, i hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and is feeling refreshed and ready for the week ahead. Spring is almost upon us, but if you are feeling a bit of the Monday morning blues, i have just the perfect antidote.

Melanie and  George were married on the 27th November 2010 in a humanist ceremony at the gorgeous Oran Mor in Glasgow. The couple wanted a real traditional Scottish feel to the ceremony and their day. Melanie looks stunning in an Enzoani gown with gorgeous faux fur stole, which she certainly needed considering the weather.

This day is effortlessly glamourous, romantic and just plain gorgeousness.

The bridesmaid dresses were Belsoie dresses in cobalt blue.

The service was humanist and conducted by Linda Britton. We chose this type of service because it was more personal than a civil service and reflected many of our own beliefs. We wanted to incorporate a lot of the Scottish traditions into the service, such as hand fasting and drinking whisky from the quaich and humanist services give you the freedom to do that.
