Annika and Jim got together 4 years ago and have a gorgeous little boy, they got married on the 4th of September 2010 in a beautiful 1960′s inspired day.
I am loving this today’s wedding for several reasons. The couple have stamped their personality all over their day, and have included such lovely details. Annika is in fact wearing a headpiece her Grandmother wore on her wedding day, how very touching. I love her 1960′s look, she looks gorgeous and Jim looks fab in his suit. This ceremony is just beautiful, it’s emotional and the hotel backdrop is perfectly romantic.
Just you wait for later, the reception is beautiful :-)
A huge thanks to the wonderful Norfolk wedding photographer Kathy Ashdown Photography for sharing her work, here is what she had to say about the day…
“Annika and Jim’s wedding had a English 60′s theme and took place at the gorgeous boutique St Giles House Hotel in Norwich.
Annika’s dress was custom made for her. Her shoes were customized by her mum who added the bow and she had a broach, earring’s (given to her by her mum) and a ring to finish off the look. Her stunning headband/tiara belonged to her Grandma who wore it on her wedding day, passed down to her mum who also wore it on her wedding day and then to Annika which really set off her 60s behive hair style. Her fantastic hairdresser was J Hairdressing in Norwich .
Annika and Jim got ready at the hotel in different rooms, Annika in the fantastic room 16 suite, before the ceremony was held in the stunning wood paneled room complete with huge chandelier and two beautiful fire places. The emotional ceremony included a reading of the Owl and the Pussycat and Jim, who is a musician, singing and playing the guitar.”
Come back this afternoon fot the amazing reception….
