Anyway… onto this beautiful set of images. I actually squealed when i was sent over this gorgeous winter inspiration shoot, styled by the lovely Sara over at Under The Vintage Veil and shot by the amazingly talented Laura Babb Photography.
I love the styling of the bride, especially her glitzy eye make up, and of course the flowers and beautiful decor. What a fabulous result from this wonderful team of suppliers.
Thanks so much to Sara and Laura for sending this shoot my way, here is what Sara had to say about the shoot;
“The biggest challenge with a winter shoot is to keep it classy. Anyone who’s seen Don’t Tell the Bride or Four Weddings will know just how fine the line is between a winter wedding and a really expensive Christmas party. For me as the shoot coordinator and set stylist, the most difficult aspect was that, with a styled shoot, there’s a lot of room for creativity. I didn’t want to stifle that by being too subtle. After all, this is an aspirational shoot, we wanted the pictures to be something really special.
But how to achieve that frosty, winter feel without crossing over onto the set of the Snowman?
With so many creative, talented people on board, Pinterest played a big part in the concept of this shoot. Over several months we all contributed and pinned until we had a clear vision in mind. Then we split into two teams and Charlotte took over the fashion aspects while I started to construct the set.
Many shopping trips later, we were ready to go! The day moved fantastically well with an incredible team and one exceptionally professional model – who was so dedicated she practically froze herself for that (I’m sure soon to be) iconic picture of her lying in the rubble of her wedding. Laura and Alexa were both phenomenal and had some great ideas, as well as composing some of my favourite shots ever!
I hope you enjoy looking at these pictures as much as we enjoyed creating them.”
Afternoon lovelies :-) let’s get back to basics here this afternoon… a couple so wrapped up in one another, caught on camera by a wonderful photographer.
Thanks so much to the brilliant Julie Ann Images for sharing her work today, here is what she had to say about the day;
“Becky and Nicky are a really fun, relaxed couple to hang out with, and I’m so looking forward to photographing their Christmas wedding in Buckinghamshire – I’m sure it’s going to be absolutely magical. The little homemade details that I’ve seen so far are beautiful, so I’m more than a little bit excited!
They popped over a few weeks ago so that we had the chance to discuss a few of the finer wedding details, and have a dry-run of taking a few pictures prior to the wedding day. An engagement session is included as an important part of your wedding photography package - it’s a great way for everyone to feel comfortable with each other and with the camera! We wandered the streets of Guildford for a little while before ending up in the local Costa to sample their black forest hot chocolate – I have to admit to being slightly addicted…”
