Ohhh i love a romantic story and this couple have just that — i am such a softie :-)

The fabulous Lavara, photographer extraordinaire from Lavara O’Hanlon Photography submitted this stunning shoot to me from all the way in New Zealand. I think it’s safe to say it is simply stunning, i just love that umbrella shot. Thanks so much to Lavara for sharing her work with {www} today.

Here is Natalie’s story of their love ♥

“Johnny and I met over six years ago.

We were both at a church conference in tauranga, he was up from christchurch, and I was down from auckland.  He was 16, and it was the day before my 14th birthday [i was 13 –just!].

I saw him, my heart stopped, and I thought to myself “hes the guy i want to marry…” He saw me, was stunned, and knew I was the girl he need to go after… We spent the conference just starring at each and talking.…haha it was so cute!

We then went back to our home cities, with each others cell numbers, and spent the next three years texting… it was hilarious and so much fun!

Long distance was fun but very hard, too many awful and tearful airport goodbyes… but our love for each other got us through! =)

He moved to Auckland beginning of 2009, and we’ve spent every available moment with each other.  I think dating long distance was quite important in our relationship. We really learnt to appreciate each others friendship and time with each other.

We are both everything to each other. We are extremely excited to be getting married and looking forward to waking up next to our best friend everyday.”
