Good afternoon and welcome back for part 2 in the wonderful installment of this morning’s wedding. It’s time for the reception and all those gorgeous details. How much do i love those Moroccan tents set in the beautiful Brightling Park, a fabulous alternative to the traditional marquee. Jewel bright eye popping colours and some glamorous portraits from Sarah Critchlow round up this wedding inspiration extravaganza. Enjoy…
Table names we’re places we had been together, displayed on a blackboard in an antique frame which was purchased from ebay. Food was a hog roast supplied by local catering company.
Hired a photobooth for the evening supplied with a prop box! So much fun! Everyone loved it.
The Cake…
Didn’t want a traditional cake and decided to go with cup cakes with 4 various flavours – Chocolate, Carrot, vanilla and berry and white chocolate and a poppy seed with citrus. These we’re displayed on a DYI cup cake stand which I designed and my now hubby constructed!
Name places we’re made by myself with the help from mum and mother in law. We used rubber stamps and stuck individual gems into a luggage style tag and tied onto napkins using ribbon. Tags purchase from ebay.
Flowers….
Flowers we’re peonies with orange and pink roses with rosemary and eucalyptus.
Beautiful bridesmaids…..
With 4 adult bridesmaids was very difficult to find a dress that fitted all the different shape and sizes. Then found the girls a John Lewis number @£79! And a vivid orange flower (primark) was attached to either the dress or hair and jewellery all from accessorize.
Ups and Down’s on the day…
The whole day went like a dream was so worried about the weather but was blessed with a gorgeous day! seeing everyone enjoying them selves. Can honestly say there wasn’t any down’s, apart from the day going so quick!
Advice for other couples…
Go with your heart and do not listen to others everyone has different ideas for YOUR big day. Enjoy every minute and relax on the big day.

What a beautiful location and what sweeping view. Astounding photography both capturing the venue and all the details. I love the cup cake mountain! I also appreciate the filter used on the photography which really works well throughout finding in particular to like the effect on the first picture of the couple in the dome structure. Would love to see more..
